Position: Payments Supervisor
Reports to: Payments Manager
Location: Bratislava Slovakia

Nature and aim of the position
This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of developing Payments operations environment. The primarily responsibility of the Payments Supervisor’s role is leading the team in charge of verification, recording and control of manual exceptional transactions combining bank transfers, cash transfers to credit cards and issuing cheques on behalf of Global Blue and external parties.

Main duties and responsibilities
- Executing or ensuring the competence of the team in areas of:
• Processing refund exceptions (Manual payments, Reissues, Stop, Reversals) in various currencies towards travelers globally
• Performing quality control on received refund requests
- Quality assurance on tasks performed by the team
- Supervision of defined SLAs and KPIs
- Investigation and approval of exceptional cases, advisor in complicated situation/cases
- Escalation point for operational events
- Responsible for periodical weekly, monthly reporting
- Development and people management, will be lead to couch the team
- Training and continuous education on hard-skills, soft skills, GB knowledge, Process knowledge
- Work with engagement level and motivation
- Team leader's tasks such as revision of governance documentation, access management, assessments and evaluations, training concepts and induction of new joiners
- Anticipate internal/external business issues; recommend process or service improvements related to optimization of payment channels (credit cards, bank accounts and cheques)
- Recognize and communicate possible improvements
- Support projects and system implementations, become SME

Profile and education
- University education (Bachelor or Master's degree)
- Experience with leading team
- Min. 3 year of experience in payments, revenue assurance, accounting or finance operations
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,)
- Leadership and people management
