Job description, responsibilities and duties
Global Blue has developed a Shared Center Service /SCS/ in central Europe to centralize many of the administration tasks from the local subsidiaries. Global Blue wants to extend its SCS offering and be opened for new countries and offer better service.
The Processing specialist, reports to the Operation Manager, and has the responsibility for the support of Operation Manager and operation department.
1. Support Operation Manager with date to date issues, requests
2. Support on Projects related to Operation dept.
3. Visual Management
4. Reporting
5. Cooperation within SCS and local countries
Main duties and responsibilities
• Support on projects related to Operation
• Support business requirements for changes and improvements
• Take ownership for implementation of changes and improvements, follow up
• Support operational supervisor with ad hoc tasks, analysis, issues
• Handling of IT issues related to Operation dept., follow up
• Define regular & ad hoc reports (related to transactions, KPI’s, processes, performance, resource etc.)
• Prepare analysis, executive summaries, pinpoint areas of concerns and opportunities
• Develop corrective & preventive measures and document issue resolution procedures
• Identify the best practices and business improvements – processes, systems, cooperation
• Help to visualize the measured figures (visual management)
• Communicate with the respective departments
• Contribute to business meetings and report issue status
