As an Email Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for building and optimizing email campaigns and programs, defining email program goals, executing campaigns, and measuring and reporting on results. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in email execution, strong project management skills, a great eye for creative and a passion for marketing. You will be member of ESET’s Global Online Presence team which consists of highly skilled and motivated individuals covering all areas of online marketing. Successful candidate should understand how to manage end-to-end email life-cycle including: promotion strategy, trigger programs, email content/messaging, legal compliance, campaign execution and performance analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Producing, launching and scheduling email campaigns in Oracle Responsys platform (preparing and modifying email messages, importing data and validating distribution list, creating list queries, performing QA testing on campaigns)
  • Managing email program implementation including marketing emails, transactional emails and behavioral trigger programs
  • Using statistical analysis and reports to improve campaigns results
  • Segmenting lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.)
  • Assisting in developing creative briefs and work directly with designers to facilitate creative development
  • Working with content team (copywriters, designers) and internal stakeholders to develop and compile the email content and HTML template production
  • QA all email campaigns to ensure quality and accuracy, and collecting test approvals before each campaign launch
  • Working with internal teams and email service provider to identify and troubleshoot problems and identify enhancement opportunities
  • Monitoring deliverability and following up on any resulting issues
  • Providing expertise in email targeting, response data, and analytics
  • Maintaining ongoing reports and compiling email data for analysis
  • Proofreading emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling
  • Writing guidelines for using templates as needed

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with managing high volume email campaigns, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and web analytics
  • Analytical thinking and ability to derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email optimization and make decisions regarding campaign direction
  • Excellent understanding of direct marketing best practices, including email best practices, industry standards and success metrics
  • 2-3 years of experience in online marketing is advantage
  • Understanding of HTML is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to develop reports with excel or other reporting tools to make data driven decisions
  • Understanding of legislation requirements and implications in email marketing
  • Strong independent decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask and manage time efficiently
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
