General Ledger Accountant with Croatian or Serbian - relocation bonus

As a member of the General Ledger team, you will be mainly responsible for closing related activities in the area of GL including HR accounting, revenue, and intercompany accounting. You can expect the following interesting challenges.

Information
about the position

• Perform closing preparation, accrual process, and intercompany process
• Responsibility for the balance sheet and the profit and loss account reconciliation
• Record HR accounting topics and other provisions in the accounting system
• Post late entries in accordance with company guidelines in an accounting system
• Generate statement of equity and report on changes in provisions
• Perform controls for the internal control system to ensure compliance and correctness of the General Ledger
• Assist the auditors with their queries
• Day-to-day interaction with a respective internal custome
We work in a HYBRID STYLE of working with an unlimited home office, but twice a week we meet in the office for meetings.
The published salary is the minimum possible offer.
The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).

Secondary with school-leaving examination

Language skills

Croatian - Upper intermediate (B2) or Serbian - Upper intermediate (B2) or English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Fluency in English and Croatian or Serbian language
• Education in economy field
• General ledger accounting experience- Advantage 
• Local GAAP knowledge and IFRS knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of accounting software (SAP preferred), proficiency in MS Excel
• Detail-oriented and self-organized personality
• Customer-friendly communication skills and problem-solving skills
• You should be a team player - although you will work on your own tasks, we act as one team and help each other
• Enthusiasm for working in an international environment and occasional traveling within Europe
