As an Internal Controls Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting international audits of financial reporting controls, with focus on IT general controls.
During end-to-end audits, you will check whether the local controls cover the relevant financial reporting risks and are compliant with the Group-wide design standards. You review the effectivenss of the controls, agree on recommendations for action to improve the control processes and make suggestions for standardization and increased efficiency. You support the Group-wide, cross-company clustering of internal controls, provide guidance for the development of best practice control sets and contribute to the creation of a multi-year audit program. You will further develop the audit processes and standards, tool support and reporting, taking into account current developments in the accounting environment.
Other responsibilities:
• You will carry out risk analyses of ICS-relevant processes and systems with a focus on financial reporting, coordinate with interface partners to identify accounting risks and define key controls
• You develop decision papers for management
• You set up and develop a reporting system for internal steering
• You design and conduct ICS trainings
• You manage strategically oriented projects
The salary for this position is from 2300 EUR gross. The published salary is the minimum possible offer.
The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).

Auditor with IT Focus - Internal Controls Manager
Join our growing Internal Controls System team at Deutsche Telekom as an Internal Controls Manager/Auditor based in Slovakia or Czech Republic.
Our team is responsible for the ICS (Internal Control System) process for the Deutsche Telekom Group. We support all Group companies in implementing efficient, modern and automated control processes. You will be part of a newly established Internal Controls Audit Team with primary responsibility to conduct international audits on the appropriateness of the control design and the effectiveness of internal controls in financial reporting. This involves as well defining Group-wide design standards and developing best practice control sets to increase the efficiency of the ICS. Language skills
Greek - Upper intermediate (B2) or Hungarian - Upper intermediate (B2) or German - Upper intermediate (B2) or Czech - Upper intermediate (B2) or English - Advanced (C1)
Personality requirements and skills
• Degree in Business Administration/Accounting/ IT or a comparable professional qualification
• Sound knowledge and several years of experience in international accounting (auditing firm or international group).
• Good knowledge and experience in the areas of auditing, internal auditing or internal controls.
• Special knowledge and experience in the areas of IT controls, IT audits or IT security standards.
