Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Strategic planning of logistics and transportation networks in addition to project management
- Analyze and evaluate supply chain data, processes and networks
- Develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the transportation operations
- Develop and implement transportation planning and optimization processes
- Work closely together with Brose plant to identify and realize transportation cost reduction initiatives
- Interview, select, coach, train, manage, and appraise the performance of transportation personnel
- Lead a Brose transport team and guide the team members’ development
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships
- Maintain open dialogue with other plants and central functions to coordinate activities and improve performance and productivity
