Job description, responsibilities and duties
You will manage the efficient movement of goods through Brose’s logistics networks in order to ensure material availability with maximum efficiency. Your primary tasks in this position will include:
• Guaranteeing the smooth execution of all areas of transportation planning for daily operations using our SAP TM based transportation management system
• Performing customer service tasks, e.g. managing orders, providing KPIs and taking care about customer requests (“help desk”)
• Handling shipping exceptions while ensuring that information flows to the plants and other relevant parties involved
• Providing solutions in case of inquiries
• Responsible for the planning, operating, and managing of transportation on a larger management scale
• Contributing our continuous improvement process by analyzing and reflecting your daily tasks

• You must be able to communicate effectively with a variety of people, especially in times of emergency and be able to quickly prioritize during busy periods
• Experienced user of MS Office with strong communication skills in English and German, additional languages are a plus
• You are willing to work in a shift model (2 shifts)
• You should be aware of legal aspects of transportation, their staff, their equipment, and transport schedules
• Automotive experience is an advantage
• You are interested in the field of logistics and enjoy working in a dynamic and international environment
