Founded in 1862, Cloetta is a leading confectionary company in northern Europe and the Netherlands. Sugar, chocolate products, nuts, pastilles or chewing gums, produced in eight factories, can be purchased in more than 50 countries around the world. Cloetta owns traditional and strong brands such as Läkerol, Cloetta, Jenkki, Kexchoklad, Malaco, Sportlife, Saila, Red Band or Nutisal. Almost 2500 employees in 15 countries worldwide help to produce more than 90,000 tonnes of candy products each year and jointly fulfill the mission of the company - Bring smile to munchy moments.
The largest of the production plants has been based in Levice - Géňa Industrial Park since 2006. Nearly 750 employees have found their job here, making Cloetta one of the key and stable employers in the region. The Levice plant is specialized in a broad technology base, from chewing candies, extruded and molded products to pastilles of specific flavor.
