Are you a student passionate about data accuracy and integrity? Join our dynamic team as a Data Validation Trainee and play an important role in in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of insurance data.
Your role
Your role
- Doing validation test (and build a tool) that ingests MGA data and runs consistency checks on it, both in itself as well as compared to past data for that MGA.
- Report the errors in the validation and contact the MGA (indirect or direct, currently not yet discussed with the MGA team)
- Transfer the incoming MGA template to the dataset for the QlikSense reporting that is already in place
- Ensure all validation tests are comprehensive and cover key data points, including but not limited to:
- Premium values should not be zero.
- Policyholder age should not be less than 18 years.
- No closed cases should have a Case Reserve greater than zero.
- All claims must have a valid date of loss.
- No claim should have a cumulative negative value.
- And other relevant validation criteria.
- Currently a student of Economics, Statistics, Finance or similar.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced experience with MS Excel.
- Good communication skills to report errors and coordinate with the MGA team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent communication in English - B2.
