As a Release & Demand Manager, your main responsibilities will involve:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, product management, and operations, to define and execute an effective release management strategy.
  • Establish and maintain release calendars, coordinating schedules, dependencies, and milestones, ensuring smooth and timely software deployments.
  • Implement and improve release processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
  • Lead release planning meetings, manage communication channels, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on release status, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, roadblocks, and conflicts that could impact the timely delivery of releases.
  • Conduct post-release reviews and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to optimize release management practices.

Personality requirements and skills

As a Release & Demand Manager, your skills and experience will ideally include: 
  • 4 years of experience in release management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of development methodologies, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Proven proficient track record in release management and its tool & software, leading successful releases from start to finish in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • You have a keen eye for process optimization and continuously seek ways to enhance release management practices
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented personality
