Job description, responsibilities and duties

In this role, you will be part of the Platform DevSecOps team, and will be responsible for the successful execution of the Data & BI Security Audit and Compliance items for a wide range of Data & BI technologies. You will play a key role in the implementation, regular execution and supervision of the corresponding IT controls and processes for a wide range of Data & BI technologies, as well as the improvement and optimization of the already existing audit and compliance frameworks (industrialization, automation and robotization). You will work as a trusted advisor in close collaboration with members from different teams (Platform DevSecOps, Solution Management, Data Office, Project Management and other delivery teams).

As Data & BI Compliance Expert, your main responsibilities are: 
  • Ensure commitment to our (internal and external) IT audit & compliance frameworks by appropriately implementing, executing and supervising on a regular basis internal IT controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide consultancy and advisory to audit control owners (technical and non-technical) on mitigation of risks and control implementation leading to effective IT risk management.
  • Apply and support IT security, risk and compliance-related technologies.
  • Supervise the execution of regular audit-related activities, including DET and OET processes, compliance with internal frameworks, execution of controls and evidence collection.
  • Act as a bridge between the Platform DevSecOps team and other internal and external teams for audit and compliance-related topics (including interaction with external auditors).
  • Identify opportunities and lead the implementation of alerting, monitoring and automation of audit and compliance execution activities.
  • Analyze existing technical and non-technical process to ensure compliant operations, including quality of deliverables.
  • Organize on a regular basis compliance awareness campaigns (trainings).
  • Participate on (and lead parts of) compliance-related projects, such as the implementation of new audit frameworks or the onboarding of new platforms (as part of project handover to operations).
  • Manage audit and compliance-related escalations for the Platform DevSecOps team when needed.
  • Assist the Service Management team with the implementation of compliance activities.
  • Contribute to the Platform DevSecOps team strategy and definition of reusable frameworks.

Personality requirements and skills

As Data & BI Compliance Expert, your skillset ideally include: 
  • IT Auditor experience
  • Solid experience in technical and non-technical operations and compliance-related processes (Incident Management/Change Management, etc., ITIL certifications are beneficial, implementation / execution / supervision of SOX controls)
  • University level education or equivalent
  • Prior experience working in finance services, preferably insurance preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a global organization across different geographies, under time pressure and to manage ambiguity
  • Communication/presentation skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Technical background including knowledge of Data and BI tools (support function) is beneficial
