Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for an experienced SAP Application Developer to become part of the development of Zurich's own SAP based Group Credit Risk Application and join our newly formed and extending team located in Bratislava.
This role anticipates performing complex SAP ABAP design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and correction of work related to the implementation. You will ensure that enhancements and changes meet established requirements and are delivered with high level quality.

As a SAP Application Developer, your main tasks will involve:
- Performing complex SAP ABAP design, development, coding testing, debugging, quality check of work related to the implementation
- Understanding the requirements of customers and recommending application performance improvements to ensure alignment with business requirements
- Estimating Rough Order of Magnitude for the level of effort/cost of new application functionality
- Supporting and reviewing the documentation of functional specifications
- Supporting the implementation activities, troubleshooting system environmental issues, and providing training to the users if needed

- 3+ years of experience as a SAP ABAP developer
- Ability to work with business SME and technical staff to understand requirements and develops to specifications
- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
- Creative thinking and intellectual curiosity
- Strong team player in an international virtual environment
- Experience with WebDynpro/FPM or SAPUI5/FioriElements,CDS Views and Odata
- Experience with modern interfacing like consuming WebBased API’s and/or Cloud Computing
- Experience in the area of Financial Services
- Knowledge in SAP Business Warehouse
