You will be a part of our team supporting us in making sure that our software development and processes are in line with all the controls requirements. You will work closely with our support team in Bratislava responsible for access management and infrastructure.Candidates from Ukraine are encouraged to apply.As a Risk and Control Specialist, your main responsibilities will involve:

Ensure that internal controls are designed and implemented effectively in our team
Be our SME on Zurich’s Internal Controls Integrated Framework
Assist in assessing, monitoring, and documenting the controls relevant to our team
Be the point of contact with internal and external audit teams for controls-related discussions
Identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls execution and audits

Responsibilities:

50% Controls monitoring, execution, and assessment
30% Communication with colleagues, internal and external auditors
20% Innovating the internal processes

As Risk and Control Specialist, your skills and experience will ideally include:

Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Analytical thinking, detail-oriented, disciplined
Ability to deal with ambiguity, make decisions promptly and independently
Strong communication and negotiations skills
Drive for continuous improvement and learning
Basic knowledge of the IT environment and interest to learn more about it
0-3 years experience in IT, audit, controls management
Knowledge of internal control best practices is an asset
Understanding capital modelling, statistics, and software development is an asset
