Today’s IT is no longer the “break/fix” of old, users now expect a service that delivers the same rich & dynamic technology experience that we enjoy in our personal lives, it’s always available, reliable, and assistance is instant & community-based and with access to the latest tools and features. Today’s normal is:
• “How can I utilise this tool better?”
• “Show me a smarter way to do this”.
• “I’ve seen product X do we have similar functionality?”
• “I need an automation solution”,

In 2021 this service was launched and run by 4 interns as a proof of concept and delivered an energised modern technology experience run by Digital Natives operating as Digital Technology Ambassadors. This is now a full-service offering run by internal staff but during the summer we will be scaling this up to meet demand and keep it vitalised by additional staffing by University interns.

As a Sharepoint content creator, you will:

• Bring your digital expertise & experience to promote modern ways of working,
• Apply your human talent to higher-level tasks that require creativity, curiosity and innovation
• Make intelligent use of data and analytics to understand the IT environment.
• Identify new ways to improve the customer experience, boost innovation and drive business value
• Work with “digital novices” who lack the dexterity and curiosity of younger workers in using new technologies, and be instrumental in increasing the confidence and usage of modern tools of this audience.

As a Sharepoint content creator, your skills and experience will ideally include:

Enthusiastic, capable, curious with a craving to learn & distil that learning to make a difference, this is a people-facing role so good communication skills and above all patience.
Below are the key areas you will be covering; we don’t require expertise in all of them but a willingness to upskill is essential.

•Office 365
Help our user base get the best from this suite, embracing the concept of software as a service
•Automation
We are at the beginning of the AI & automation journey & witnessing a huge surge of interest, you can help shape & deliver solutions on both an ad-hoc and structured basis
•Digital Experience Weeks
Be part of the team running training, demonstrations of new tech & new ways of working in live sessions & Q&A panels
•Deliver modern training
Users expect more digital content, video sessions & interactive exercises, if you can make Tiktok videos you can create tips & tricks videos.
•Customer Service & Soft Skills
You will be serving our business customers, so a background in dealing with customers in customer service roles would be preferable. Having good customer-facing skills, previous part or full time working in such a role will be advantageous.

You will be working with all aspects of the business at all levels from junior staff to the CEO. We are a global company so the demand can come from any part of the globe so the ability to engage with a diverse audience is a core skill.
