Job description, responsibilities and duties

Our opportunity

The Senior Accounting Specialist is responsible for the reconciliation and settlement process. The role ensures that reinsurance transactions are executed according to the Producing Countries’ requirements and according to the Zurich performance standards.

As Senior Accounting Specialist, your responsibilities will involve:

• Drive reconciliation and settlement process between Reinsurer and cedent, and liaise closely with other Zurich reinsuring entities
• Participates on projects and updating and maintaining the various tools/ systems
• Timely delivers correct accounting data for Reinsurance
• Handles technical accounting for International Programs

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

As Senior Accounting Specialist, your skills and experience will ideally include:

• At least 3 years of experience in Accounting
• Highly motivated individual with a hunger to learn
• Insurance or Reinsurance experience within international environment
• Very good English is a must (writing and speaking)
