Our opportunity
Within the IPZ Reinsurance Constructs and Accounting team, we are seeking for a specialist to focus on international reinsurance transactions with an end-to-end view.
In this role you will coordinate with regional Zurich offices to ensure accurate reinsurance transactions via the SAP/ZIRIS system and you will be responsible for the reconciliation and settlement process of these transactions with external reinsurers.
In this key role your main areas of responsibility will be:
• Ensure the correct set-up of Captive, CoReinsurance and Facultative Reinsurance structures within the SAP/ZIRIS system,
• Timely and correct reconciliation of technical bookings with related cash items,
• Execution of technical bookings and related payments,
• Perform analysis on existing SAP/ZIRIS reinsurance structures and corrections as required,
• Clarifications related to cash clearing for any overdue un-cleared items,
• Monitor progress and report on delays, develop action plans to reduce impact on closing processes where required,
• Data analysis and interpretation in order to identify patterns and proactively provide solutions,
• Provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders and maintain good relationships with them.
Project work, training and occasional travel are a part of this function.

• 4 or more years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry
• Completed academic education on Bachelor’s degree level or similar
• A good understanding of international program business and knowledge of SAP FS-CD is a strong asset
• Good analytical skills
• Team player with intercultural and communication skills
• Fluent in English (any further language is an asset)
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
