Application Service Manager MSSQL

SME’s are ideally placed to develop a strong profile in the organisation working with the technical support teams in IT. It is an opportunity to develop knowledge and expertise within IT delivery. SME’s gain exposure to both Service delivery and will learn about the ITIL model as well as project scoping and delivery utilising the Zurich project delivery framework.

This role is an ideal opportunity to learn and develop a broad breadth of BI tools, mainly MSSQL and PowerBI/Apps, and also to take ownership of delivery boosting your profile within the organisation. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain all applications in scope and keep them up and running
• Perform quality review checks on applications.
• Support and review the documentation of functional specifications.
• Make recommendations for application performance improvements.
• Act as liaison between the Business and IT, as assigned.
• Support the implementation activities, troubleshooting system environmental issues and providing training as required.
• Perform impact analysis of application changes across various components, holding an end-to-end view of the system.
• Supporting 3rd Party Suppliers to resolve incidents and implement application changes

Expected skill

• Overall 3 years IT analytical experience
• At least 1 year of experience with MSSQL DB, Practical experience with SQL language and PowerBI experience
• Experience with designing of SSIS packages and maintenance of SSIS packages
• Be able to follow ITIL processes – incident management, change and request management, customer interaction
• Any reporting experience, e.g., Tibco Spotfire, SSRS, PowerApps is a bonus, also practical experience with VBA is a bonus
• Ability to work in multicultural environment, flexibility and ability to learn

Work is located in Bratislava. Minimum salary offered for this position is 1800EUR plus other pay elements. Final offer depends on your experience and expectation.
