The Customer Service Specialist performs all tasks to achieve delivery of service excellence to international program business customers in countries where Zurich does not have owned entities. The Customer Service Specialist functions as link between the Producing Country and the local external fronting partner. The role ensures that local policies are issued and serviced (incl. claims handling/reporting) and reinsurance transactions executed according to the Producing Countries’ requirements and according to the Zurich performance standards. The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for updating and maintaining the various tools/ systems (including IPS and other internal work tools and support systems) at the highest level of quality.

As a Customer Service Specialist your main responsibilities will involve:

• Acting as human interface between Zurich Producing Countries around the globe and Zurich Partners in Europe and Central Asia
• Supporting Partner Relationship Management by maintaining close day to day contact with peers at the partner offices
• Instructing Partners on Policy/Invoice issuance, maintaining Policy, Premium and Claims data in IPS and other local tools
• Support Partners regarding premium collection
• Performing bookings of premium and claims in IPS, according to agreed standards and 4 eye principles
• Supporting reconciliation and settlement process between Producing Country and Partner, and liaising closely with the Accounting Specialist
• Ensuring that local policy mirrors Producing Country’s requirements and match with IPS (International Program System)
• Ensuring high quality of information to all parties concerned

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

We are expecting a highly motivated, well-organized person, with strong customer engagement skills and the aptitude to learn the Insurance Business and grow within this area.

Your skills and experience will ideally include:

• Degree in International Business, Business Economics or related field
• At least 2 years of insurance experience
• Experience in working in an international context/multicultural environments would be an advantage
• Strong focus on customer service, ideally supported by work experience
• Strong focus on accuracy
• Strong sense for responsibility
• Excellent language skills in English, additional languages are an advantage
• IT know how (Lotus Notes, MS Office, Outlook, Internet)
