We can offer you exactly that! You will be a part of our development team responsible for the implementation of an in-house developed software – Solvency II Risk Engine with 350+ users across the European entities of the Zurich Group.
You will work closely with quantitative analysts and data providers in Group Risk Management and other Group functions located in Zurich, and with the end users located in various European countries.
Your role would be to:
- Develop and maintain the system code as part of an Agile (Scrum) team using rich existing code-base and documentation
- Provide consultancy and cooperate with other team members and business and quantitative analysts
- Provide technical support to the end users
- Enhance team standards and practices for coding and developments Propose ideas for system and tool innovations

University education (Bachelor's degree)
Personality requirements and skills
- Minimal education: University education (Bachelor’s degree)
- 5+ year experience in commercial software development
- Proven expertise in either of R / Python / Java / C Willingness and desire to work in R
- Experience in capital modelling and/or financial modelling is an asset
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong communication skills and collaborative attitude
