Senior Software Developer (Relocation bonus)

Do you already have some experience in software development and would like to face a new challenge? Are you interested to code in a non-standard programming language - R? Insurance and Mathematics/Statistics are an environment you would be happy to work in?  

We can offer you exactly that! You will be a part of our development team responsible for the implementation of an in-house developed software – Zurich’s Internal Capital Model.  

You will work closely with quantitative analysts in Group Risk Management located in Zurich and economic capital modelling specialists located in Bratislava.    

Your role would be to:  
- Support developments, software maintenance and documentation of a rich existing code-base using an agile framework (Scrumban)
- Provide consultancy and cooperate with other team members and stakeholders from the business and the technical side
- Enhance team standards and practices for coding and developments
- Use your expert level analytical and coding skills to deliver the best product to the internal customers
- Propose ideas for system and tool innovations
