Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

The candidate will support the Risk Modelling Platform (RMP) a centralized platform for integrating and consolidating Zurich's risk quantification and reporting processes. 

Key Accountabilities
  • Providing comprehensive and expanded first and second level help desk support for IT incidents, problems and service requests via the RMP service desk.
  • Updating documented procedures and tools (e.g. the RMP wiki) based on incidents and platform enhancements.
  • Administration of the RMP productivity toolset - Atlassian Suite (e.g. JIRA, Confluence) - -- - Providing support on RMP maintenance activities (e.g. data archiving, software upgrades, DB maintenance).
  • Provides service desk performance / RMP services reporting and analysis to RMP stakeholders.
  • Providing consultation, support, and training to RMP Customers (e.g RMP Wiki, Service Desk and Change management tools. Provide support to RMP management.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

  • Excellent Customer service skills (experience working in customer support role is welcome).
  • Effective communication, presentation and relationship management skills at different levels and in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global organization, in a small team, under time pressure and to manage ambiguity.
  • Experience in IT / IT educational background (Linux and Windows system administration).
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server highly beneficial. Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability and willingness to learn.
  • 1-2 years of experience on similar position.
