Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are seeking an IT professional to join our Global IT infrastructure team whose primary duty involves monitoring, maintaining, operating and troubleshooting daily remote access technologies. Although new member will be located in Krusovce, Slovakia, he will be responsible for Citrix administration in all ZKW sites around the world.
- Ensuring the system availability of the basic IT infrastructure - especially Citrix, Terminalserver
- Support and management of the ThinClients in the field
- Execution, optimization and further development of the assigned tasks including the independent processing of allocated projects in the aforementioned areas
- Deploy applications and virtual desktops to Citrix or MS Terminal Server
- Configuration and operation of existing virtual systems
- Contact for internal departments and external consultants
- Administration and maintenance of the internal virtual application and server landscape
- Solution-oriented and structured fault diagnosis
- Further development of the Citrix environments within the ZKW Group
- Continuous documentation and participation in IT projects

Personality requirements and skills
- Completed technical education in IT /EDP (technical school, high school, university) or comparable
- Experience in client virtualization and terminal server administration
- Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems (servers, workstations), experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems is a plus
- Good overall overview in network
- Enjoyment of working in a corporate environment and team spirit
- Excellent spoken and written English skills
- Willingness to travel into various countries, mostly to Austria
