Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Lead and manage key customer application projects from business award through series start of production, as well as other strategy projects within the Product Line Chassis Components, ensuring KPIs are successfully achieved (scope, time, quality, financials and customer satisfaction)
- Lead interdisciplinary project teams and assure their effectiveness and development, as well as negotiate and secure team resources to meet project targets and requirements
- Elaborate project plans in alignment with strategic goals and perform cross-departmental planning for all functions involved to meet project targets and requirements
- Manage project communication clearly and accurately to stakeholders and act as an interface between internal and external customers, suppliers, partners and adjacent departments, demonstrating competent representation of the project
- Identify and manage risks, solve problems and complex tasks, track and close open issues, drive informed decision-making process and escalations, and manage baseline changes

Personality requirements and skills
- Successfully finished university degree in Engineering or Business area (MBA preferred) with several years of related experience in the automotive or supplier industry as well as project management experience
- Strong sense of ownership, drive and result orientation as well as excellent communication and presentation skills (team/customer/senior management)
- Track record of successfully managing projects as well as demonstrated leadership, teamwork, negotiation and organizational skills
- Excited to take on a role with high visibility and exposure to senior leadership
- Good German and good English language skills in written and oral form
