Commodity Buyer

• Support and enable the development and implementation of

the global part family strategy, which includes deep analysis of
the supply base capabilities, footprint and technology required
to support the specific part family needs.

• Support and lead annual cost reduction strategies (negotiation,

GCS, VAVE) globally for suppliers in the different part families.
Lead Supplier Business Review Process for the assigned
companies, including accountability for Business Plan fulfilment,
contractual status, quality & delivery performance, financial
health monitoring, etc.

• Perform and lead sourcings for new and carry over projects

according to the Sourcing Decision Process (bid list alignment, -
RFQ, cost analysis, sourcing recommendations, etc.).

• Working with Purchasing systems and tools to ensure the right

data maintenance (contracts, purchasing orders,
savings/inflation reporting, sourcing pipeline, etc.).
