Logistics Manager

ZF Active Safety Slovakia s.r.o. is looking for a Logistics Manager at our manufacturing facility in Nove Mesto nad Vahom. We are seeking a proactive, professional leader to our Logistics department.

Your main responsibilities will be:
- management and organization of Logistics team to achieve company targets and satisfy customer requirements
- drive actions throughout the department to achieve plant business plan with strong focus on Inventory management
- manage the flow of information and use of information system to assure that material balances in the MRP system reflect reality
- lead the organization in the development of stocking and material handling standards result in Best Practice
- responsible for inventory reporting in line with ZF rules
- responsible for continues improvements in material flow areas using lean priciples
- responsible for transport cost potentional optimalizations and working with purchasing and central logistics to achieve annual improvements reportable in CIS
- responsible for communication with intercompany and external customers
- lead the organization in correct inventory counts to be able to conduct relevant audits on annual base
