Service & Troubleshooting Technician/Engineer (Electrical/Production)
About this position
We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Service engineer with electronics specialization to join our production team. In this role, you will be the bridge between our engineering and manufacturing departments, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for investigating and resolving issues that arise during production, using your electronics knowledge to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions together with R&D department. Key Responsibilities:
- Service and troubleshoot our products, identifying and analyzing the root causes of failures that occur during the manufacturing process.
- Analyze internal faults, conduct tests, and perform basic electronic measurements to diagnose issues.
- Develops familiarity with our products, processes, operational metrics and software tools
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and other technical documentation to aid in fault finding.
- Perform hands-on tasks including basic soldering, component replacement, and final system testing.
- Work closely with the production team to implement corrective actions and improve manufacturing processes.
- Document all findings, analysis, and solutions for the purposes of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to provide feedback on product design for improved manufacturability and serviceability.
- Analyze test results and recommend solutions to prevent the recurrence of issues.
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience in an electronics-focused role.
- The ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with basic electronics measurement tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Experience with soldering and reworking electronic components.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A proactive and "hands-on" mentality.
