Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- verification of required properties of interior parts
- performance of mechanical tests e.g. impact and tensile testing for plastic parts
- carry out of surface tests e.g. abrasion and scratch testing
- monitoring of ageing tests e.g. sun simulation and climate tests
- executing tests according to customer, international and internal specifications
- using of appropriate test equipment, measuring methods and their optimization
- documentation of tests and results (test report, charts, photos, video) within 2 working days after completion of the test
- plan maintenance for used equipment; keep the maintenance schedule and oversee the timelines of the test equipment calibration
Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
University education (Bachelor's degree)
Personality requirements and skills
- Technical High School or University
- Experience with working in laboratory
- Experience in the automotive sector would be an advantage
- English language advanced or German language advanced
