Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Calculation of various general reserves based on the policy (e.g., Allowance for Accounts Receivable, Inventory provision, Inventory profit elimination)
- Communication of proposed calculation with related parties and manual posting of them
- Month-end close activities, posting of Journal Entries
- Reconciliation preparation
- Preparing and uploading of Monthly / Yearly Footnotes
- Fulfilling SOX and Audit Requirements, meet KPIs – communication and processing
- Contact point for questions regarding General Reserves – internal / external
- Cooperate with the global team for the policy and procedures creation regarding General Reserves
- Continuous improvements of the calculations and process as such
Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
University education (Bachelor's degree)
Personality requirements and skills
- University degree in business administration or adequate professional experience focusing on Finance/ Accounting
- Min 2 years in the Accounting department of an industrial company or in an accounting firm
- Strong Accounting background and accuracy
- MS-Office, ERPs (preferred QAD and/or MFGPro experience, SAP is advantage)
- Fluent in English
