Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Prepares cost data for plastic parts and interior components
- Develops manufacturing process & cost data (machine hourly rates)
- Assists with various strategy business cost exercises
- Provides pricing guidance in addition to cost calculations
- Establish regular technical/cost direction for manufacture ability or design concepts in engineering development center
- Supports purchasing / sales negotiations, benchmarking activities and promotes „best practice“ solutions
- Works as responsible champion in own area interfacing with other departments
Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
Secondary with school-leaving examination
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
- University or Higher education in technical/industrial field
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Very good level of English language
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to cooperate with people of different levels inside/outside the company
- Ability to recognize, respond to customer expectations with sense of urgency and takes initiative to exceed expectations
- Basic knowledge of Injection molding (IM) technology, IM tooling design and construction, plastic materials – resins
- Knowledge of other production technologies in automotive industry is highly appreciated
- Experience in manufacturing environment is a big advantage
