Production Manager – start up

This Production Manager position will be responsible for all operations tasks and activities.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the timely and effective way we manufacture products to meet required customer demand.
• To manage the production area by organising and monitoring staff, materials, processes and products to achieve the required productivity and quality performance.
• Responsible for the people management elements of Assembly and/ or process areas via shift supervisors and team leaders.
• Organise Supervision, Labour & Equipment to achieve Production demand with maximum machine efficiency, and minimum overtime
• Lead shop floor lean implementation through client‘s Production System including Kaizen. Work with operations manager, plant manager and CI Manager to meet productivity and lean targets
• Optimise utilisation and efficiencies of presses equipment, tools and assembly stations, as required by logistics and business needs.
• Establish and monitor identified key performance indicators.
• Minimise rejects and scrap rates in accordance with set targets

We expect you to have the following qualifications:

• Suitable education
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in production management position – experience from automotive area is a must have
• Very good influencing and negotiation skills
• Strategic thinking
• Proven track record of problem solving
• Ability to work under pressure
• Coaching skills are an advantage
• Highly motivated, proactive and collaborative way of working
• Fluent spoken and written Slovak/Czech, as well as English language skills
