Job Description, Skills, and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of closing and accrual processes, and inter-company reconciliation.
  • Recording of HR and other reserve accounting matters in the accounting system.
  • Posting of late entries in the accounting system in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Preparation of the statement of changes in equity and the statement of changes in balancing reserves.
  • Audit of the internal control system to ensure the adequacy and accuracy of the general ledger.
  • Ensuring and controlling the daily processing of bank statements (posting, reconciliation of incoming and outgoing payments).
  • Expertise in working with SAP.

Employee Requirements:

The position is suitable for candidates with the following educational qualifications:

Secondary education with a secondary school leaving certificate.

Post-secondary/higher vocational education.

University degree I.

University degree II.

Education in the field of economics, accounting.

Language Skills:

English - Intermediate (B2) and Serbian - Intermediate (B2).

Other Knowledge:

SAP - Intermediate.

Microsoft Excel - Advanced.

Experience in the Position/Area: 3 years

Personality and Skills:

Fluent in English and Serbian.

At least a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or other related studies is an advantage.

Experience in general ledger accounting or several years of experience in AP/AR.

Knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS is an advantage.

Knowledge of accounting software (preferably SAP), MS Excel.

Detail-oriented and self-organized.

Strong communication skills and ability to problem-solve with customers.

Team player - although you will be working on separate tasks, you will be working as a team and helping each other.

Enthusiasm for working in an international environment and occasional travel within Europe.
