TrucksOnTheMap is a freight-tech start-up solving the empty running of long-haul trucks. It was established in 2015 by 5 founders (logistics experts and software engineers). TrucksOnTheMap Ltd. Is registered in UK (London) and in Hungary (Győr). We are on the market since June 2017. Having 275 users. We are serving among others: DHL Freight; Apollo-Vredestein.
We focus on logistics digitization. We solve empty freight runs with a SaaS, by providing transparent information about truck-future-availability, thus making closest-available-truck-booking possible.
We are in the main stream. The digitalization of logistics and especially of the freight forwarding business will happen in the next 1-7 years (experts agree). This trend can be observed in the founding and funding news: appearance of Uber Freight (daughter co. of Uber), Transfix (raised 78M USD), Flexport (raised 94M USD), lately Bill Gates and Jeff Bazos invested a logistics start-up called Convoy (80M USD), etc..
