We are looking for a bright and talented marketing professional to lead all our marketing initiatives. You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, a hands-on approach, and the drive to make things happen. You will be responsible for such activities as planning campaigns, promotions, x-sell / upsell / acquisition propositions, and to drive flawless execution via multiple digital channels. You will lead a diverse team of passionate marketers, content writers, graphic designers, and external collaborators.

Key responsibilities:

• Design the marketing strategy and execution plan, in line with company strategy and objectives
• Define target audiences, value propositions, marketing mix, promotions and campaigns to boost customer acquisition, x-sell / upsell, and retention
• Ensure that the plan is fully executed, on time and on budget, and results are tracked
• Carefully manage the marketing budget and forecasting (spend, CAC, LTV, ROI…) with accountability for accuracy and performance against target
• Lead the marketing team, setting priorities, targets, schedules and deadlines
• Brief and manage the marketing calendar and the content creation / distribution plan
• Manage the company website, blog, SEO/SEM programs, and optimise digital conversion
• Set up monthly marketing reports for top management and key stakeholders
• Gain marketing insights by conducting customer, brand and product research / surveys
• Source and manage agency providers, contractors and other suppliers (negotiating prices)
• Suggest and introduce innovations in marketing approaches, tools, online presence, products
• Cooperate with product development, customer support, and sales colleagues to ensure a consistent, customer-focused delivery
• Support the creation of external and internal collateral (e.g., leaflets, brand guide, culture book)
• Accurately and timely brief the relevant functional units and teams on all upcoming initiatives
• Monitor the competition, market trends, and elicit sales and customer feedback, in order to sustain competitive advantage through superior marketing propositions
• Provide cross-functional leadership and assist / influence decision making from senior management and other key stakeholders in the organization

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

Slovak - Proficiency (C2) and English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

• At least 8 years’ relevant marketing experience (of which at least 3 leading a team)
• Well versed in digital performance marketing (email, PPC, marketing funnel conversion, etc.) and supporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar)
• Able to brief and judge the production of engaging content (copy, visuals, videos…) across multiple digital channels (website, email, landing pages, social media, YouTube, etc.)
• Strong know-how of UX and graphic design principles highly preferred
• Creativity and customer focus paired with solid analytical skills and business acumen
• Results-focused and with a successful track record overperforming targets
• Experience in digital-first, e-commerce, or data-driven companies highly preferred
• High energy and proactivity coupled with a can-do, positive attitude towards any work challenge
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Czech or Slovak native speaker, and fluent in English (written and spoken)
