Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an HR and Office Administrator with superb communication and administration skills. The HR and Office Administrator will handle all written and verbal communication.

You will be expected to be qualified to degree level, in either HR, management or a business-related field. Previous administrative experience is essential, but not necessarily within the HR sector. Training and guidance will be provided on the in-house, if this is relevant.

As our HR and Office Administrator your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Drawing up HR documents and job alerts;
Corresponding with employees, remote contract workers, potential candidates, recruitment agencies and other external parties;
Assist the CIO and COO in the process of onboarding and, the occasional disengagement, of employees and contracted resources;
Organizing training sessions and events – online and or at the office;
Maintaining internal administrative records, which may include preparing, issuing and filing company documentation
Updating and maintaining company policies;
Processing internal arrangements such as travel, training sessions, and team-building events.
Acting as the first point of contact for all personnel and remote contract workers;
Setting up the office and or online interviews and corresponding with prospective employees and remote contract workers in a timely manner.

Due to the nature of our company we work mostly remotely. With COVID 19 this proved to be very beneficial to us as it did not interrupt our business that much. In the case of the HR and Office Administrator, it will be advantageous if he or she is based in Bratislava for occasional face-to-face meetings, but it is not essential.

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Upper intermediate (B2) and Russian - Upper intermediate (B2) and Ukrainian - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

You will have excellent administrative, telephone, verbal, and written communication skills.
You shall be able to conduct business in English, Slovak and Russian and or Ukrainian;
Being organised is essential;
You should have good multitasking abilities and know-how to prioritise;
You will work with various people across the whole business and therefore must be able to deal with a variety of personalities and keep calm in tense situations;
You will have a sound knowledge of Slovak labour laws and cross border contract employment will be advantageous but not essential;
You will display strong critical thinking skills with good ethical judgment;
You should be skilful in MS Office 365 and G Suite; and
Important:
As our HR and Office Administrator, you should be approachable, fair and display a good sense of humour whilst at the same time maintain the utmost level of confidentiality.
