We are currently seeking for a Marketing Communications Global Specialist AfterMarket who is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of marketing communications plans and materials. In this position you will support the development of differentiating marketing communication tools and campaigns. You will be key to ensuring that the WABCO brand position is reflected in all communications materials.
Key Accountabilities
• Support the creation, research, production, proofing and assembly of global marketing communications collaterals and deliverables. Projects include advertising, collateral development, direct marketing, electronic media, sales tools and presentations.
• Manage the internal regulatory approvals process for marketing materials.
• Ensure brand standards across the continuum on all WABCO materials.
• Participate in the planning in support of trade shows, educational programs, and product-related events.
• Support coordination of marketing activities with the regional markets for the AfterMarket Business Unit.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure deliverables are met on time and on budget.
• Coordinate e-blast campaigns, website marketing material, customized mailings, etc.
• Gather information to perform marketing analytics and metrics.
• Produce strong written material that supports key operating messages and goals.
• Develop content and update company pages on social media sites.
• Serve as a Marketing Communications liaison to internal customers.

Personality requirements and skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, business, internet technologies, graphic design or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in marketing communications planning and programs; automotive marketing industry experience preferred.
• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading abilities
• Ability to manage multiple programs and projects effectively and efficiently.
• High levels of creativity and motivation, demonstrated as a self-starter, independent worker, proactive team player, and innovative/novel/original thinker
• Exceptional organizational and communications skills, strong influencing skills
• This position may require occasional travel to meetings and tradeshows
• Excellent English skills - writing, editing, speaking

The position is part of the global AfterMarket Marketing Communications team, reporting to the Global Marketing Communications Leader AfterMarket. The position, based in Bratislava, will require daily contact with the global teams based in Hanover and Brussels, as well as a co-ordination role with regional MarComs teams in 7 countries.
