Inhouse Specialist (m/f/d) Laboratory Products

You will be responsible for achieving the specified sales targets (turnover and DB) in the individual product, market and customer segments, for the operational support, planning and control of the projects you are in charge of and for securing and expanding the laboratory business with the customers assigned to you. Our service package includes full laboratory supply with laboratory and production chemicals, consumables, medical products, equipment, services and laboratory furniture.

Your tasks:

• Price information
• Contact with suppliers
• Special price requests
• Arranging for the creation of new articles
• Detailed and comprehensive advice
• Preparing enquiries and calculations
• Quotation entry, dispatch
• Offer follow-up
• Monitoring project notifications
• Planning, coordinating and monitoring all business with assigned customers
• Immediate follow-up of quotations and carrying out a performance review in this regard
• Finding alternative items for products that are no longer available
• Checking the contribution margin of the offers
• Determining discounts on the basis of the condition agreement or in coordination with the supervisor
• Requesting delivery dates from the manufacturer

Your profile:

• Commercial or scientific training, ideally first professional experience in the laboratory area or in dealing with products requiring explanation
• Good knowledge of common MS Office applications
• Strong communication and presentation skills as well as dynamic and confident telephone manner
• Organisational talent and a strong service orientation
• Commitment and enthusiasm are reflected in your reliable and goal-oriented way of working.
• Good written and spoken English
