Project Manager (m/f/d) New Construction Eastern Europe

For our Wagon Hiring department located in Hamburg (Germany) we are looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) New Construction Eastern Europe.

Main tasks:

• Management of new build projects for freight wagons with the following main tasks:
  • Responsible project management respecting technical, commercial and quality aspects
  • Management of dependable delivery dates
  • Development of technical concepts for new vehicles, taking into account customer requirements, VTG standards, repair and maintenance requirements, etc.
  • Creation of technical specifications and evaluation of technical offers
  • Validation of wagon design and constructions from the suppliers
  • Coordination with manufacturers, and/or with authorities and testing organizations, etc.

Your profile:

• Completed technical studies (e.g. bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering/wagon design production, industrial engineering or similar)
• Experience in project management
• Practical experience in a similar role
• Good communication skills, assertiveness, team orientation
• Independent, responsible and accurate way of working
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Willingness to travel
