Job description, responsibilities and duties

The new team member "Inside Sales / Business Development" cooperates closely with the Sales Manager, but with the aim to maintain and develop the operative business as well on her/his own initiative.

Tasks & Responsibilities
• Communication with Customers (Czech Republic/Slovakia) and Suppliers (Germany/France/UK) on daily basis
• Preparing price offers, negotiating contracts and responding to customer´s inquires
• Tracking sales opportunities, following them up and focusing on high priority projects
• Negotiation of prices, terms and conditions with customers and suppliers
• Willingness to customer visits (to be agreed: independent / together with sales manager)
• Monitoring fulfilment of contracts, be responsible to initiate negotiatiations for prolongation
• Transformation of new business opportunities with existing and potential customers into regular business.
• Close cooperation with customer service for processing orders and production planning
• Handling sample requests based on customer´s needs, updating all opportunities and tracking projects in CRM system
• Cooperation and performing marketing & sales campaigns

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Number of years of experience

at least 2 years in similiar position

Brief description of the company

VITACHEM is a medium sized (18 persons), fast growing, sales and production organization of high quality and healthy food ingredients.

Our customer base is spread across Europe. Especially in our home markets (Slovakia, Czech Republic and Austria) we have achieved a dominant market position in some segments and are expanding on this basis in Europe.

After strategic investments in 2018/2019, we had been able to double our sales in 2020 and expect to grow our sales in 2021 by additional 50%.

In addition to Vitachem, our subsidiary Graf's Naturprodukte GmbH (, 18 employees) with two production facilities in Austria, focuses on the production of natural and organic foods and food ingredients based on vegetables such as garlic, Onion, paprika. Here, too, we are able to achieve above-average growth rates of 15-25% annually.
