Job description, responsibilities and duties

Are you a motivated and self-driven person with experience in production or logistic planning / supply chain management / process management / purchasing (JIT)?

We are still a small team of 15 people - therefore we are looking not for a “typical manager style” person, but for a person with “hands-on mentality”. You have already collected some good experience in similar positions, would like to turn your experience into practice and help us to improve and build our company.

Utilizing years of experience and knowledge about global sourcing, production and usage of food ingredients, Vitachem developed its business model from being just a regional distributor of food ingredients into becoming a company with European sales, own brand, global purchasing and production.

Especially for our fast growing business for raw materials and food ingredients with an international supply chain behind, the candidate shall
- summarize the customer demand based on orders, frame contracts and forecasts
- coordinate production schedule and shipment planning with suppliers, production
facilities and logistic companies
- place orders / call-offs at both raw material suppliers and production facilities
- coordinate the cooperation with international sea freight forwarders
- manage the cooperation with our local warehouse and transport partners
- cooperate close with our sales, product and quality managers and customer service

Due to the rapid growth of the company during the last 24 months, we do not only need to win new business, but we need to also improve continuously our internal organization and processes. Although we like to have a creative mindset in our team, for this position we would love to find a person who likes to have things well organized and who is able to improve and establish processes and routines.

Vitachem will introduce soon a new ERP system including DMS, CRM, Work-flow Management, therefore the ideal candidate would have experience to utilize abilities and advantages of a central ERP system.

VITACHEM is a medium sized (15 persons allocated to the Headquarter in Bratislava) fast growing, private owned and managed distribution and production organization of specialty food ingredients and raw materials used in the cosmetic industry.

Our daughter company in Austria (www.grafsnaturprodukte.at) with two production facilities in 60 min distance from Bratislava is focused on the production of natural and organic food and food ingredients based on vegetables as garlic, onion, paprika.
