Security Operations Center Consultant

Your responsibilities
• Work in security projects
• Monitor security-critical systems (80% Windows-based, 20% Linux-based) and initiate both proactive and reactive measures
• Define alarms and monitor them
• Assist in the analysis, processing and resolution of IT security incidents
• Research and document new findings, attack patterns and defense options

Your profile
• Completed IT security training or comparable further training
• Experience in a SOC team or comparable environment is an advantage
• Good technical knowledge in the following technologies:
• Windows and Linux operating systems
• MS Active Directory
• General knowledge of security technologies, products and vendors (especially Cisco and ASUS)
• Knowledge in the area of security incident response
• Very good English skills
• Readiness for on-call duties

Our customer is one of the major telecommunication providers in Austria and operates Security Operation Centers for its customers worldwide. The tasks of the SOC include the use of state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies in the area of attack analysis, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
