Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a Product Knowledge & AI Enablement Specialist who will play a key role in preparing, structuring, and optimizing our company’s internal Large Language Model (LLM) for use in education and interaction with our product knowledge base.
This role ensures that the company’s product knowledge is properly captured, classified, and transformed into high-quality data that enables the LLM to understand, retrieve, and communicate information accurately and effectively.

You will lead the process of building and maintaining our internal knowledge ecosystem — combining knowledge management, AI enablement, and product education — to empower customers, partners, and internal teams to fully understand and adopt our products.

Key Responsibilities

AI & LLM Enablement

  • Prepare, structure, and maintain product-related data for use in the company’s internal LLM.
  • Map the company’s product information landscape to define which roles produce and consume specific data.
  • Establish rules, restrictions, and quality standards for data used in LLM training and fine-tuning.
  • Test, evaluate, and optimize LLM outputs to improve the model’s accuracy, reliability, and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to design and implement LLM-powered educational and support use cases.
  • Monitor the LLM’s performance in real use cases and recommend improvements to enhance its ability to assist users.

Knowledge Management

  • Analyze, classify, and structure product knowledge to make it accessible and reusable.
  • Maintain a centralized knowledge repository with clear taxonomies, metadata, and governance standards.
  • Identify gaps and inconsistencies in product data and coordinate updates with relevant teams.
  • Ensure alignment between product documentation, internal systems, and AI data models.

Product Education & Training

  • Develop and update user guides, tutorials, videos, webinars, and documentation for internal and external users.
  • Design and deliver training programs for customers, partners, and internal teams (sales, support, implementation).
  • Tailor educational content for different audiences and levels of expertise.
  • Align educational materials with product roadmap updates and new feature releases.
  • Gather feedback from learners and stakeholders to improve materials and delivery methods.
  • Contribute to certification or accreditation programs that validate product knowledge and engagement.

Collaboration & Process

  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to understand new features and translate them into accurate knowledge assets.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success to align product messaging and educational efforts.
  • Act as a customer advocate by channeling feedback from users into continuous product and LLM improvements.
  • Track and analyze metrics on knowledge usage, LLM performance, and training effectiveness to drive continuous enhancement.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Proven experience in knowledge management, product documentation, or training/education roles.
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM technologies (data preparation, prompt testing, model validation).
  • Understanding of instructional design, adult learning principles, and training methodologies.
  • Experience working in product-focused roles (product management, customer success, or technical support) is a plus.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills; ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Proficiency with knowledge platforms (Confluence, SharePoint), LMS systems, and content authoring tools.
  • Analytical mindset; able to track, measure, and improve training effectiveness and product adoption.
  • Empathy and customer-centric approach, with ability to inspire learners and drive engagement.
