Job description, responsibilities and duties
Visma InSchool is a SAAS Education Management Information Systems to the Irish and International markets, currently operating in Ireland and Norway. Our applications are processing 10s of thousands of requests per minute as they are used by students, parent, teachers, school employees of almost all primary and secondary schools in Norway.
It is a quite big product developed in several European cities - Dublin, Vilnius, Oslo, Riga, Sibiu and Košice. InSchool has microservices architecture with about 20 microservices in total that are deployed at AWS. All our InSchool engineers are working on MacBooks and feature teams using SCRUM :)
Currently we are looking for experienced Technical QA who will be working in both assigned dev team but also in wider QA team. New TQA will collaborate with other TQAs to develop effective strategies and test plans.
We are looking for a TQA with:
- proven experience as a QA Automation engineer
- working knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices
- ability to demonstrate understand of database and use of SQL
- working experience with Python
- familiarity with version control systems (github, gitlab etc.)
- working knowledge of OOP concepts and implementation is desirable.
- familiarity with CI/CD principles, experience working with and building scripts for Jenkins a plus.
- ability to document and troubleshoot errors
