We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer for our Optimization Technologies team - a true center of excellence for AI within the Visma Enterprise division. As an Infrastructure Engineer you are the person in the Optimization Technologies team with expert knowledge on infrastructure, operations, monitoring, deployment and automation.
You will be part of an international development organization and a distributed team, currently transitioning from piloting to production environments. Together with seven motivated team members you will contribute to drive innovation and deliver customer satisfaction.
Job description:
- Be the devops responsible for all solutions in Optimization Technologies
- Ensure that all optimization services are following the Visma Cloud Delivery Model guidelines
- Proactively suggest changes to the service in order to improve service quality (e.g. delivery, monitoring, performance and scalability)
- Gather and document non-functional requirements (e.g. availability, performance, security, legal compliance and backups)
- Define monitoring requirements needed to verify fulfillment of non-functional requirements
- Capacity planning, i.e. to estimate the infrastructure resources required over some future period of time
- Manage elastic scaling of infrastructure resources to ensure a healthy relationship between required and provisioned capacity
- Perform cost management, including cost estimations and cost reduction measures
- Perform risk assessments for changes impacting the infrastructure
- Assist the Optimization Consultant during design to ensure that the service is easy to operate (e.g. high level of automation, easy to monitor and detailed logs)
- Assist the Data Scientist in how to gather data in a data lake from several endpoints
- Contribute to evaluation and selection of tools and vendors for dashboards, BI and ML models
Your qualifications:
- Experience with automated infrastructure (infrastructure as code)
- Experience with log analysis, monitoring and alerting
- Experience with defining non-functional requirements
- Experience with operating cloud services on Amazon Web Services
- Experience with setting up and maintaining a fully automated continuous delivery pipeline
- Experience with microservices and containers
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- Strong collaborative skills
