Reinsurance Accounting Associate

You will be responsible for assigned portfolio of contract. The role consists of financial accounting of reinsurance contracts, as well as communication with our business partners to make sure the processed bookings are correct. You can drive change of processes if you find out that they can be improved.

Your Tasks

• responsibility for assigned portfolio of contracts
• communication with our business partners
• booking of reinsurance contracts (premiums, final accounts and claims)
• verification of received accounts
• identification of payments and solving payment discrepancies
• preparing accounts in internal system and confirmation of open balances
• processing controls during year and during closing period

Our Expectation

• preferably education in finance, economics, accounting or equivalent
• English on advanced level
• knowledge of other language is an advantage
• very good communication skills
• computer skills – MS Excel, knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• ability to work independently and in team
• ownership, responsibility and reliability
