Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are now looking for a new Supplier Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nove Mesto, Slovakia!
Responsible for supplier quality management, supplier development, qualification, auditing, and quality assurance activities for the Fan, Compressor, and Stainless Steel commodity group. The role supports NPDI and serial production activities by ensuring supplier capability, compliance with technical and quality requirements, and continuous supplier performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Qualify, evaluate, audit, and develop suppliers within the Fan, Compressor, and Stainless Steel commodity.
Lead supplier quality assurance activities during NPDI and serial production phases.
Ensure activities related to material and component quality during development and industrialization phases.
Coordinate and manage PPAP (Product Part Approval Process) activities with suppliers.
Perform periodical supplier evaluations and supplier performance monitoring.
Support supplier capability assessments and supplier improvement programs.
Manage non-conforming material processes including containment, corrective actions, and return-back procedures.
Coordinate supplier corrective actions and root cause analysis activities.
Communicate with suppliers regarding all quality-related topics.
Support Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Project teams regarding supplier quality matters.
Ensure supplier compliance with drawings, specifications, standards, and customer requirements.
Participate in supplier audits, workshops, inspections, and technical review meetings.

University degree II.
Min. 2 years of experience in the electrical or mechanical engineering industry.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
Experience in conducting supplier audits
Other skills, abilities:
Proficiency in measurement methods, knowledge of component function
