Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
The engineer will responsible for managing service technical and operational aspects ref “DC Power Systems” and their application in field, in harmonization with the organization roles.
• Deal with R&D teams in US, China and Europe as well as the DC System manufactures for what refer field specific cases report
• Maintain feedbacks from critical sites
• Participate to inter-functional meetings, when required, to represent the DC Power EMEA Central Tech Support team
• Apply, when required, unit or returned parts investigation, release Technical Reports.(RCAR’s)
• Accurately report and collect field experience to decide how to fix the field issues
• Participate, when requested, to development of new products as Tech Support Service EMEA representative (NPDI)
• Technically Analyse and justify acceptance/refusal Warranty Cases clearly report the reason of the claims
• Prepare and distribute the technical information that the company need to share with the field through the release of dedicated technical document such as the Service Bulletins, Factory Directed Services, Field Change Notes.
• Provide technical support to the Service Spares warehouses, local and central, to define or identify the right part number
• Prepare, distribute, and maintain the Technical Documentation related to the release of new DC system and products, in TKO
• Maintain active and updated the team activity data base (Tracker), regularly discuss
• Manage all the above activities respecting all the legal requirements defined by the ITC regulation
