Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Utilize the material compliance processes within Vertiv product development (VPD) to ensure that products are compliant and product introduction schedules are met.
- Assist in driving improvement in the process of gathering and managing material compliance data between Vertiv’s product development system and its 3rd party compliance outreach provider.
- Develop and maintain subject matter expertise on material compliance regulations and best practices.
- Assist in improving the Product Material Compliance Team’s processes and protocols to improve efficiency and quality.
- Build, manage and perform data entry into the environmental compliance database on a daily basis.

Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical or other appropriate Engineering discipline
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Experience in the position/sector
Three years of experience working in product material compliance, regulatory compliance, or similar

Personality requirements and skills
- Ability to interpret drawings and bills of materials; recent experience working with PDM/PLM systems
- Ability to analyze documents / ceftifications for product material content and chemistries
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external customers , attention to detail
- MS Office applications proficiency, specifically in Excel
- English - advanced
