Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Plans, implements, and coordinates applicable actions for new product development (emphasis on quality ), product improvement initiatives and product performance analytics.
* Responsible for all product quality and reliability tasks on one or more project teams
* Responsible to participate in gate reviews with the phase/gate in New Product Development and Introduction process (NPDI)
* Define and lead Product Quality Plan within project teams, based on Quality Project Manager’s indications
* Coordinate design for reliability efforts focused on component and system level requirements
* Input provider for new product PFMEA development
* Interface with SQE and Procurement surrounding supplied product performance requirements
* Assists in the identification of Problem Root Cause and the development and implementation of effective Corrections and Preventive methods
* Collects, analyzes and reports on various measurement statistics and metrics for assigned product families globally
