Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Define the tests, set up test facility and instrumentation in response to formal requirements
• Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations
• Conduct tests and make modifications to units being tested based on own judgment
• Collects, analyzes and interprets performance, functionality, and control operation data
• Ensure the validity and accuracy of the measured results
• Be actively involved in the process of test facility development including the responsibility for completing the project(s) on time
• Prepare summary reports
• Design and develop software applications based on given requirements and specifications
• Perform prototyping, application tests and code reviews to ensure product quality
• Troubleshoot issues with already existing systems
• Work with Systems Engineering to ensure proper implementation of developed SW features

• MS degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in HVAC or related industry
• “Universal Refrigerant Handling License”
• “Electrical License according to the regulation 508, §22“
• Must be able to setup test facility and instrumentation including low volt wiring and piping assembly
• Mechanical hands-on ability
• Must have broad knowledge and skills related to temperature, pressure, and electrical property measurement
• An ability to design a system and experiments, as well as to interpret data
• System commissioning experience
• Knowledge of Emerson products an advantage, but not required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to communicate in English
• Knowledge of Programming Logic Controllers according to IEC 61131-3 standards
• Ideally, good knowledge of other programming and scripting languages (C/C++, C#, bash, python, LabVIEW)
• Good knowledge of software version-control systems (Git, GitHub, perforce)
• Knowledge of SCSS, HTML5, JavaScript, XML and JSON
