Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Communication with internal customers in UK and other departments mainly with the Department of Customer Service
- Communication with suppliers, issuing purchase orders and confirmation of delivery of spare parts
- Communicate with service warehouse to assure correct and timely reception of parts
- Work with the system, always maintaining current data for reports and analysis
- Set planning parameters in the system for new and existing items

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Business Administration, Logistics or Operations Management are plus

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and
Spanish - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

The position of Spares Material Planner is for maternity replacement.

• School Background
- University Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Operations Management preferred or equivalent experience.

• Language skills
- Fluent in English language.
- Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.

• Technical / Functional skills
- Experience as a material planner or buyer (preferably but not exclusively in a Service/spare parts environment)
- Working on a leading ERP environment
- Knowledge about planning techniques and purchasing and best practices
- Full computer literacy

• Attitudes
- Well organized and able to work under pressure
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Project management skills.
- Self-starter able to operate without direct supervision, prioritize tasks and respond quickly to changes.
- Drive, energy and enthusiasm. Must progress in a challenging environment requiring 100% effort and work ethic. A passion for excellence and team player.
- Attention to details and the ability to work on multiple fronts.
